Pennsylvania Gun Rights Under Open Attack – Sign and Send this Letter NOW! (Letter - PDF) (Letter - DOC)

Pennsylvanian’s gun rights are under the most vicious attack in more than a decade. As most of you have seen, ever since early this year the news media has been cooperating with anti-gun forces in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and New Jersey to give the impression that their cities are in the midst of some sort of “crisis of gun violence,” even though their murder rates are lower than in many past years. As a result, on September 26 there is scheduled to be a special “Committee of the Whole” session in the General Assembly to promote new gun controls in Pennsylvania. High on their list are proposals for gun-rationing, a.k.a. “one gun a month” legislation.

It is vital that you sign and send the pre-written legislative letter to your state representatives today! Here’s why:

We are going out on a limb by putting this letter in our club newsletter, betting that most of you will take the time to send it. Legislators know our club has over 1,000 members. If you put the letter aside, and only a handful get sent to legislators, it will be the same thing as you sending them a letter saying you want more gun control!

Detach the letter and sign it, giving your name and your address, so that your representative must respond to you. Place it in an envelope and send it to your State Representative, care of Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Harrisburg, PA 17120.

If you can, make additional copies for your friends and relatives, and a copy to send to your State Senator, care of Pennsylvania State Senate, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 17120. Even if you don’t know who your representative or senator is, send it to someone in the state legislature!

And remember – your failure to participate will be the same as saying you support more gun controls!
