DESCRIPTION:This session is available to members cleared by the Membership Committee who are seeking the endorsement to bring their own steel targets. If you have not heard from the committee with a specific invitation to sign up for the steel endorsement, do not register. Seating is limited.\nMembers seeking this endorsement and attending a qualification session will receive a copy of the presentation they can reference as they take a quiz online to demonstrate they understand the specifics of proper steel usage and placement for club’s our ranges.\nNo member is entitled to endorsements. Members may be turned down for endorsements at any point in the process. If instructions are not followed, you can be asked to leave at any time. Part of the qualification for many of the endorsements is observing how well members follow instructions.\nYou’re welcome to bring questions and thoughts for steel targets you’d like to use at FTRPA. Be open to learning & listening to others, as feedback about specific types of steel targets may help others or even help us improve the review session.\nWhen you arrive to the meeting room, check in to confirm your attendance & have a seat. Those who are late will not be allowed to qualify that day. Missing any portion once the session has started will not be permitted, but you’ll be permitted to sign up for a future session.\nOf knowledge, skill, and attitude, attitude is the most important to firearms safety and education. We subscribe to this very important lesson from all of NRA’s best training programs. It applies in all endorsement qualifications.\nWhen you leave, you’ll have instructions for taking the test online through our member website. Once it is taken and a passing score is logged, you will receive notice about your endorsement status and information on when an updated badge will be available for pickup at a membership meeting.\n
