  • The Safety Committee shall have the responsibility for ensuring the club maintains a safe environment for members. It shall have the responsibility of:
    • Receiving safety reports from members.
    • Investigating safety incidents, rule violations, and endorsement violations.
    • Interviewing or holding pre-hearings with violating members if deemed useful by the committee.
    • Referring to violating members for hearings before the Board of Directors for suspension or expulsion if the committee deems it necessary and making recommendations after a formal majority vote of the committee.
    • Assigning lesser measures, such as the rules test, reimbursement for property damage, requalification, additional training, or revocation of endorsements after a formal majority vote of the committee. Members who do not wish to comply with a remedy recommended by the Safety Committee should be referred for a hearing before the Board of Directors.
    • The committee shall not have the power to suspend or expel members.
    • The committee shall report regularly to the Board of Directors on all activities.
    Members of this committee are required to be current credentialed RSOs, Instructors, or both.
Low Light

  • Member Reporting, Program Range Committee
  • The Low Light Committee has been established as a program committee with the purpose of running and judging Low Light Matches. The committee shall report at the monthly General Meeting of members once activity begins. There are currently no regularly scheduled matches approved for this committee, and approvals may be sought from the relevant indoor or outdoor range committees on an ad hoc basis to start or with a formal schedule.

  • The Junior Rifle Committee has been tasked with running our Junior Rifle Program on the Indoor Ranges on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays Jan-Mar. The Junior Rifle shall report to the Board of Directors from time to time on activities.

  • Member Reporting, Program Range Committee
  • The NRL22 Committee is charged with running NRL22 matches on the 50/100/200yd ranges on the 3rd Sunday. This is a Range Committee for the purpose of running and judging NRL22 and NRL22 style matches. The NRL22 committee shall give a monthly report at the general meeting of members. This is a continuously serving committee until dissolved by the Board or Members.

  • The Archery Committee has been formed as a Range Committee charged with governance of the Archery Ranges, namely the 3D Archery Course and Archery Practice Range. This committee is in charge of governance of these named ranges, per our bylaws, which includes:
    • Proposing rule changes to the Board. The bylaws say rule changes should originate with the Range Committee.
    • All governance decisions regarding the ranges for day-to-day operations. The Board of Directors controls changes to the property and budgets for projects.
    • Approving & scheduling matches on the specified ranges.
    • Setting shooting hours for the specified ranges.
    • Setting match fees for matches that are run and judged by program range committees.
    • Approving prizes and prize schedules.
    Additionally, the Archery Committee is a Range Committee responsible for running and judging matches in the discipline of Archery, and is free to approve any matches on the ranges it governs.
